History of the NAB Project:

1999 - Present

1999-2005: New Art Basics continued to serve NAB member professionals and be integrated with the Iowa State graduate program in Art Education.  Strategies and student outcomes were shared via the database and at NAB in-services held at ISU.

2005: A 20 Year Anniversary Commemorative Celebration of New Art Basics Project and Iowa State Art Education was hosted by co-directors Barbara Caldwell and Dennis Dake for New Art Basics Project members and affiliated art education graduates.

The New Art Basics and ISU Art Education graduates continue their professional development and service in Art Educators of Iowa and NAEA. Valued NAB online resources contribute to curricular planning in a wide variety of
K-12 NAB affiliated schools.

2008: The ISU Graduate Art Education Program and New Art Basics materials as well as related online resources are archived by ISU Special Collections at Parks Library.

2009 - Present: The NAB website and database homepage are revised and updated. The database is made available to a wider professional audience online and maintained as a valued extension resource through the College of Design at Iowa State University.
