Synergy
Synergy is the combined or cooperative action of force. Over many years of collaborative effort, the teachers of New Art Basics have come to believe that by working together they can make a far greater professional difference than any individual educator can manage on their own.
The NAB curriculum will never be finished. It will continue to grow and expand as new teacher/researchers come into the project with their individual, unique ideas and approaches to teaching art.
No specific lesson or subject matter is required of a teacher participating in the NAB project. By contributing ideas, in a common format, and submitting the best of classroom outcomes from these activities, NAB teacher/researchers create a synergy that has the potential to greatly impact the entire art education profession.
